Performance Measurement

Highland provides clients with timely and accurate measurement of the total and individual investment categories. Performance measurement reports meet GIPS and consulting industry standards to effectively measure performance and communicate effectively to clients, their boards, fiduciaries, and plan participants, as applicable.

Highland reviews overall investment performance relative to investment objectives and policies and measures the investment performance against appropriate indices and peer groups.  Style and performance evaluation tools are used to determine whether or not results are consistent with objectives and with each manager’s stated approach.  Meetings are frequently conducted with investment managers in order to review qualitative considerations and to maintain an understanding of the marketplace.  This information is provided to clients on a timely basis in order to help them make informed decisions.
